 Sorry I have been away for a while but my internet is off, But i will do my best to get at least a post in twice a week.... I have not been doing much crafting but am trying to get back into that as well.... I have a few projects coming up that i would love to share with you all..... See ya soon.....

Young Crafters Unit Blog Hop

So what makes me a young crafter  you ask....? I consider myself a young crrafter for a few reasons, The first being that I have only been crafting for a few years now so I consider my self within the baby stages of crafting. Also because alot of the crafters I have met have been in there 30's and 40's....( I guess the 20 somethings have to much partying to do...lol ) But I myself lie within the 20 somethings range....( not telling my exact age!!!! lol). So therefore I am a young crafter!!!!

The theme for our hop today is" Our Favorite Things", and for my project I decided to use my favorite embellishments  to use on cards and other projects... So here is my project that I came up with......

So can you guess what my favorite embellishments are???? Ok Ill just tell you!!! FLOWERS and BLING!!!!!! And my all time favorite flowers to use are from Iamroses!!!!  The bling that i used is from recollections.

The image is a free digi stamp that I found off of the internet and I colored with copic markers...

Hello Card

Hey everyone.... This is my second post for today....
I know I have been away for a while, but I have been busy with school and finals..... BUT I am back with a little card!!!! I heard about a digi stamp websit named PollyCraft and as soon as I went on the site I WAS HOOKED!!!!! I kave been buying those cute little images up like crazy!!!! LOL I finally got some time to put my buying to good use and made a Hello card. And Here it is....

 

This adorable little image is called Claudias Butterflies and you can find her here. I have been trying to practice coloring with my copic markers so I used those instead of my usual prismacolor pencils and OMS. The ribbon is from my stash and flowers are from Iamroses. The bling is from recollections. I did some feux stitching around the card and used a Martha Stewart border punch for the sides of the card.

PollyCraft is having a DT call!!!!

Hey there bloggers!!!
Today is an exciting day because Pollycraft is having a Design Team Call!!!!
 I fell in love with there amazing images a little while ago and now they are looking for new design team members to join there team... So here is the card that I made for the DT call.....

 OK so it took me a little while to decided on what I wanted to do for the DT call, I kept going back and forth between making a card or a tag. I finally decided on making an easel card. This lovely little girl is from the Sonny Honeycloud collection and she is called Sonnys Party. You can find her here. I colored her with some copic markers which is different from my colored pencils and OMS, but I figured I have them so I should use them right....LOL Here is a closer picture of the front of the card.....

 The Big pink flower is from Prima, the 2 little pink and white roses are from IAMRoses and the little brown one is from recollections. All of the bling is also from recollections. I used S.E.I chocolate paper stack and some ribbon from my stash.  I put silver stickels around the image and used the Spica glitter pens on the image.

A lil card....

Hey everyone..
 I have another card that to show you and here it is...

 This cute little image is form Whoopsi Daisy and she is on Sheet 235. I made this card for a few challenges, and because Gina K had a tutorial  using inks on embossing folders so I had to try it out!! I love how it came out.... I colored the image with colored pencils and OMS , and went around it with worn lipstick and vintage photo distress ink.

Cards for My Father

Hey there bloggers!!!!
 I made a couple cards for my father for both his birthday and fathers day. I had a little trouble because im use to flowers and bling but i think i did a pretty good job!!! So for my first card i guess ill show the birthday card...

Ok so I used an image from Teddy Bo and he was just perfect since my dad LOVES to fish!!!! I added some buttons to embellish and Colored him with my colored pencils and OMS!!!!

And For the last One which I LOVE!!!! His fathers day card!!

 

I used the Tim Holtz Lost and Found paper stash and one of his word keys. Stamped the Father saying on kraft cardstock and embossed it with vintage photo distress ink and some black applique dots from ranger....  

I am entering this card into this weeks Simon Says Stamp  which is Fathers day/ For a male.

Hey there crafters!!! This week is appreciation week over at LSH and CynthiaLooWho gave us this cool digi stamp that she made so I decided to make a lil card... This is what I came up with....

I colored her with my colored pencils and OMS added some flowers from Iamroses and distressed the edges of the papers. I am entering this into the following challenges....

Hey everyone!!!!
I have been recently introduced to Kenny K digi stamps, and I am simply In Love!!!! So I decided to enter into the Challenge this week at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz. This weeks challenge was to use die cuts and punches. I colored my image using colored pencils and OMS. I tired using copic markers but didnt really like  the way it came out. I used EX Sucess punches on the sentiment and the mat under the image. So here is my card.
